| Partial Hospitalization, also known as PHP, is a treatment program offered at both inpatient and outpatient addiction treatment centers. It's the most intense program offered at outpatient treatment centers and requires a patient to commute to treatment for therapy/meetings four or five days per week for a maximum of 20 hours. A partial hospitalization program is perfect for an addict that isn't able to leave work or their children to live at a residential addiction treatment center for 30 days.
